God Bless Our Two-Party System

Vlogger 'Michael Aranda' made this really awesome video about our current state of 'voting'. Basically it's saying that the government and the media will only give us two sides of the coin - Republican or Democrat. I've been told that voting for anyone outside this is "wasting my vote" because no one else is going to vote. Of course, if you tell that to everyone of course no one else will vote.

There are plenty of other choices out there. Constitution Party, Libertarian Party, Green Party ... so many choices yet we're only fed two. Why? Because they own the media. Why is it we don't see debates with Chuck Baldwin, Robert Barr, Cynthia McKinney or Ralph Nader involved? (http://www.votesmart.org/election_president.php) Why is it we're only fed the lines from McCain and Obama?

Power. Control. In my opinion, the two "major" parties are sitting in a room together, trying to figure out how they can keep control.

Democratic leader - "Ok, you guys had Bush in there the last two terms I think it's our turn .. "

Republican leader - "Sure you guys can have a go ... but let's do something crazy and have your candidate sound like Bin Laden!"

Democratic leader - "We have the perfect guy! Barack Obama! And to make it juicy we can have Joseph Biden in there! So it would be Obama Biden .. yeah that's priceless!"

See how it works?

Ok, so they probably don't work like that but I honestly have no doubt that the R/D parties are basically the same party. Same goals, different directions. Big government or big business? Either way you look at it, we have no control.

Don't be a puppet. Vote third party. I'm voting for Chuck Baldwin myself.
