May the blessings come

It has always amazed me at how God works.

The Drawing

I entered a contest about two weeks ago. All I had to do was post a comment on a blog article to enter. The winner would get this huge texture pack or somewhere around 300+ textures (clouds, rust, wood, metal, stone ...), said a quick prayer and forgot about it. Yesterday I got an email saying that I won the pack! I was so excited! It's exactly what I need for my projects - and God delivered! For free!

For some people, winning things like a drawing happens often. For me - I have never won any drawings so it is extra exciting!

The Software

As you may know, I'm working on a a large graphic project (Deadland Chronicles) and have need of software. I've been scouring the Internet, looking for inexpensive (or free!) programs to use that will help the project along. I found one I really liked (Silo), but it was $160. Which is $160 more than I could spend on software.

So I sent a few emails around and BAM ... a gracious person gave me a free copy. It was amazing! God is so good!

I just wanted to tell you all how God has blessed me this week. In OBVIOUS ways. There are naturally the blessings that He gives everyday such as protection on the road, friends and family, a roof over my head, etc - but when some things go beyond the norm it's always a treat and I just have to share!

I'll be posting  more about Silo in the next day or two. It really is a great software. Easy to use, powerful and relatively inexpensive - especially compared to other programs that are 4x the price EASILY.
